If you use lupin pasta, this recipe has loads of protein: 40g per serving. If you want to add meat topping that isn’t pork, how about chopped chicken apple sausage?

The mac and cheese looks delicious and I would like to swap out the pork for some other meats. Do you have any suggestions for this? Thank you.

You really don’t have to include any meat at all. There is plenty of protein without it. It is just a topping! You could do chopped green onion, gf panko, crispy shallots, or chopped herbs!
